Who is Eligible for Cigna Global Health Benefits?

Eligibility is open to expatriates, inpatriates, third-country nationals, select key local national members, and their dependents, except where applicable law prohibits. Eligible dependents include the employee's lawful spouse and children under 26. The program requires at least two eligible employees to be enrolled at all times and must be delivered to a U.S. address.

When is the Program Effective?

The program becomes effective on the first day of the month. An employee becomes insured on their eligibility date, given that they are in active service. If they are not in active service due to health reasons, coverage begins once they resume active service.
