Health Net is thrilled to announce an expanded partnership with Providence Health & Services, giving members access to top-rated hospitals and medical groups across six counties. With this new three-year agreement, Providence will remain in Health Net’s network through December 31, 2027, ensuring members can rely on exceptional care and continuity of service. Starting in 2025, Ambetter members in Orange County will also gain access to Providence’s network for both HMO and PPO plans. This update opens doors to more hospitals and specialized care providers, offering greater convenience and a wider choice of services.

What Does the Health Net and Providence Partnership Include?

Through this partnership, Health Net members will have access to Providence’s network across six California counties, including:

17 hospitals providing top-rated care in specialties like cardiac, cancer, and orthopedics.
5 foundations and 29 ancillary providers covering a broad spectrum of medical services and specialty care.

What Should Health Net Members Know About Network Changes?

If you’re a Health Net or Ambetter member, this partnership with Providence means more options and easier access to quality care. With Providence in-network, HMO members can choose primary care providers directly within Providence’s network. In contrast, PPO members have the flexibility to see both in-network and out-of-network providers.
